In summer last year, we lost my Granma 😭Today would have been her birthday, so to honour her, here is a picture I made for her to make her feel better after a hospital stay….
I painted her a happy puppy 😊 I chose bright, contrasting colours to help her see him (the blue merle colouring worked well for this I think!) – she loved him and named him Paws! 🐶 She displayed him in pride of place so she could look at him ❤️
I used watercolour brush pens (Arteza), pigment liners (Staedler) for the outlines, and worked on 300gsm smooth watercolour paper (Aquafine).
